In addition, Kerri Pollard made the following message:

At Commission Junction, we are always looking for ways to develop sustainable relationships and improve our services to our clients in order to drive quality results. Keeping with that tradition, we aspired to enhance the communication channel between Commission Junction and our publishers. As a result, I am proud to introduce our Publisher Advisory Board (PAB).

The objective of the PAB is to help Commission Junction build mutually beneficial solutions for the future. To meet this objective, we have recruited a group of notable, established publishers from within our network to serve as the voice for their community.

Commission Junction will proactively obtain feedback from the PAB regarding successes or opportunities they observe throughout the lifecycle of a business or technical initiative. The PAB will collaborate with the Commission Junction executive board to implement enhancements in order to warrant success for all parties.

I look forward to working with this esteemed group of individuals, and I cannot wait to watch their ideas come to fruition at Commission Junction.

Sincerely,

Kerri Pollard

Road Trip

The lack of posting the past few days is a result of a very relaxing road trip down the East Coast of South Africa, on a route known as the Garden Route. If you ever travel to South Africa, this is one of the most highly recommended drives that everyone will tell you about and it has the most amazing scenery. It’s about 650 miles / 1000 km’s in total, and if you split it up between small towns, it can be very enjoyable.

My wife & I started off in Cape Town and headed out to Hermanus, a small, quaint town that is world famous for Whale Watching. I’m current in Mossel Bay and then heading out to Port Elizabeth later today. We’ll be driving through Knysna and eventually our final destination is my home town, East London to watch the semi finals of the Cricket World Cup on Wednesday – praying that South Africa beats Australia in the hopes that we make the finals on Saturday.

For those of you that don’t know Cricket, the World Cup is obviously the premier event and like the Soccer World Cup (which, incidently is being held in South Africa in 2010), this event only comes once every 4 years, and South Africa is yet to make the finals – a life long dream for me, as an avid armchair cricketer having watched South Africa choke back in 1999 in a semi-final encounter against Australia!

Anyways, my point is, I’m busy chilling right now so don’t expect too many blog posts (I’ll keep things ticking over though!) – there is also a long weekend in South Africa this coming weekend – 27th April & 1st May (it’s been 13 years since democratic elections were first held back in 1994, when Nelson Mandela first became President), so I’m using this time to catch up with old family and friends and I’ll be back in the office on Wednesday the 2nd.
