August 2006 Roundup & the weeks ahead…

August was a pretty rough month for me - and the blogging was scarce.  I thought it would be worthwhile to give a quick roundup of what I got up to (rather, my excuses for not blogging regularly!):

Speaker at Online Marketing conference in Rosebank, Johannesburg

Keynote Speaker at  CiTi conference in Cape Town

Judged the Business Day Technology Top 100 Competition in the Emerging Enterprise Section, and attended both events in Johannesburg & Cape Town.
Finalised an incuBeta deal to acquire a large stake in Quirk eMarketing

Added some cool widgets to this blog, including the Del.icio.us one, which tracks my bookmarks.

So, for the weeks ahead, I’m leaving Cape Town for just over a month, and will be attending the following conferences - drop me a line if I’m in your area:

Speaking at Commission Junction University in Santa Barbara on 17th to 21st of September.

Speaking at Office 2.0 conference in San Francisco on 11th & 12th of October

Spending a week in Honolulu, Hawaii (yes, I do get a break now and again!)

I’ll be in London next week for 3 days as well.

Luckily, this will not be a lonely trip, Charlene, Jenna (Cape Town) & Joanne (London) from the Clicks2Customers team will be joining me for CJU, so if you’re one of our clients (existing or prospecting) and would like to meet with them - please feel free to contact them.

I have a few more posts lined up for today, so I’ll end this one right here.
