Feedback Required: My New Blog Template Design

I’m planning on launching another upgrade to the look and feel of this blog – no major changes to the functionality, but I want to bring it in line with the incuBeta website theme.  Now what better way to test out the theme then by posing this question to you, my loyal readers!?   I must thank Keith (incuBeta’s Designer – who is an absolute whiz!) who put this design together.  I didn’t post the whole PSD because it was too big, but this JPG file should give you a rough idea.

And if you don’t like it, please say so and please make recommendations – you’re the ones that have to look at it every day!

    Fine indeed. Just one point, instead of the right and left grey laterals, I prefer the current colour.

    wow i really like the new design! great look, bold, crisp, innovative… perhaps instead of making the background two shades of gray just make it the lighter shade of gray instead? Hmm i don’t know…

    Your new design has the rounded edges popular with the current Web 2.0 :-)
    The main section is fine as is but if you are going to place your main section on what now is a gray and dark gray (almost black) background, consider colors that would be harmonious with your orange buttons. As an example, if you use #FF9A57 for your buttons (I am not sure which color you have chosen, but this is an orange shade) use a harmonious background such as #BD4B00 and #A34100 or something within the range of colors.

    Personal bias – my favorite color is orange. I think the new design is also simpler than the current. I am a big fan of simple interfaces.
