Google vs. MSN 4 AOL

Who’s buying who?

In the past week, rumours have surfaced that MSN is in talks to purchase AOL.

Seeing as about 30% of Google’s traffic comes AOL, would they allow this? Google has just raised another $4.7bn in cash from the markets - wouldn’t an AOL counter-bid make sense?

Only time will tell - my bet is that Google will attempt to acquire AOL, but Microsoft will just spend more money to get it and usurp Google - let’s see what happens.
