Just came across this post while searching for â€œVista Researchâ€ on Google.
I have recently got a similar job offer from Vista Research, and I am curious to explore the pros and cons of this offer. I am in the Semiconductor industry and work in India.

THIS IS A FRAUD .I RECIEVED A LETTER AND I FAX MY ACCEPTANCE FORM.MORE EVER I KEEP CALLING .TWO TIME I WAS CONNECTED TO LIVE. I DID EVERY THING AS INSTUCTED BUT THEIR CHECK WAS DENIED, DUE TO NON CLEARANCE OF CHEQUE I HAD BEEN CHARGED A FEE.THIS IS TOTALALLY RISK OF LOSING YOUR OWN MONEY.

Hi Vinny,
I also just got contacted by Vista Research. I would like to know if you have any trouble with combining your fixed work, and the Vista Research, since there may be some competition/company secrets agreements in your contract that match very bad with what Vista Research like to know from you. What is your experience? Did you have any trouble about this, and does Vista Research provide some services to protect you from trouble?

Hi Vinny,

Thanks for the detailed response. Just to let you know - I was temporarily involved with the affiliate network you referred to on a project basis. I think there is great growth on the cards in SA if/when everyone buys into the model. We all know it works with the right mix of offers, product/website functionality and distribution. Each of these has its own challenges.

Good point on the attitude of business in South Africa seeing a website as a "nice to have because the competitors have one" rather than an additional revenue stream.
