I’m proud to be able to finally announce that SynthaSite will be changing it’s name to “Yola” over the next week!

For more information check out our FAQ.
Yola is derived from the Hindi word Jhola which means hatch and hatching big ideas is exactly what you do at Yola.
Check out the SynthaSite blog post here, announcing the name change to Yola.

Synthasite becomes Yola…
Hot on the heels of the $20 million Synthasite investment, Vinny Lingham has just announced that Synthasite will be renamed to Yola.
Why the change in the name from Synthasite to Yola?
Have you tried spelling, pronouncing or remembering Synthasite? Exa…

Fantastic. Keep up the great work. (Hope you'll come up with some t-shirts with the Hello My Name is Yola motif).
March 25, 2009 at 5:50 am

Hopefully this change will be for the good.

Congratulation, great new design, nice name (Yola), I don't know but it might be just my feeling, but the page load faster than before. Keep up the good work, keep supporting Small Business. I like Rob idea, t-shirt with the Hello My Name is Yola Motif.
March 26, 2009 at 6:38 pm
I support the t-shirt Idea, it would be nice and easier to be recognice in public (I'm a yola user too), also a good way for ads and marketing.

Hi, I cannot access my webiste. Every time I try to open my sites to do more work it just get stuck on the 'loading yola' page with an icon just going round and round and round. Anyone help?
May 12, 2009 at 8:58 pm
better name then the old one I think, good choice for them..
May 14, 2009 at 12:41 am
Ok, I thought the idea behind the shifting is very fundamental in a time when viral marketing is so important. But one thing, please, please, please make sure those of us still stick to the old sub domain .synthasite.com will always available to use the sub domain. Because getting listed in search engines and get good rep in the web are difficult and time consuming.
This morning I found the "Change to Yola" notification under my published website. This kind of rose a suspicion for me. But I hope not. I was always satisfied with Synthasite. And I also hope this will continue in Yola. So please once more Yola, my wish is only this simple one.
