What a long ride to the west coast! I had a decent enough trip from Cape Town to Santa Barbara – about 40 travel hours in total, and woke up at 4am this morning, bright eyed and bushy tailed. I managed to bump into 3 people I knew at Heathrow airport, whilst passing through – shows how small the world is getting.
I am currently in Santa Barbara for Commission Junction University (CJU) and as usual I’ll be blogging it in realtime, so stay tuned. It’s always a great party, and here are some photo’s from last year. After CJU, I’ll be heading out to San Francisco for the inaugural TechCrunch20 conference, presented by Michael Arrington (TechCrunch) & Jason Calcanis (Sequoia Capital).
If you’re coming to Santa Barbara for CJU or are in the Bay Area and would like to meet up for some coffee, please fill in my contact form on this site, and hopefully we can meet up!
I’m heading over to Santa Monica for the day – going to chill out at the pier.
